British Horse Society
The British Horse Society works tirelessly for every horse and rider throughout the regions of the UK. Focusing on horse welfare, horse and rider safety, access and rights of way, training (register of instructors) and providing a voluntary system of approving livery yards and riding schools.
Pony Club
The Pony Club in an international voluntary youth organisation for those interested in ponies and riding. It is the largest association of riders in the world. It is represented in no less than 14 countries and has a membership exceeding 110,000.
British Show Jumping Association
The BSJA is the governing body of show jumping in Great Britain, formulating the rules and codes of practice under which all affiliated competitions are held.
British Dressage In the 20th century, dressage became the competitive sport it is today. The first organisation to run the discipline in Britain was founded in 1961 as part of the British Horse Society (BHS). The BHS Dressage Group had 123 members and held eight competitions in its first year.
Riding for the Disabled Association
RDA is dedicated to ensuring that all our riders and carriage drivers receive a high standard of professional tuition tailored to their personal ambitions and capabilities. Our instructors work closely with physiotherapists and other health professionals to encourage every individual to aim for attainable goals – some modest, others far more ambitious.
The Diamond Centre for Disabled Riders As part of the Riding for the Disabled Association (RDA), The Diamond Centre exists to provide disabled people with the opportunity to ride, carriage drive or vault at the level of their ability to benefit their health and well being.
The Royal Society for the Protection of Birds We support the work of the RSPB in Richmond Park and across the UK.
